# Resizing doesn't work

 * Not sure what I’m doing wrong, but resizing doesn’t work. Here is what I do:
 * 1. Added new image size of 1600 x 1200 and named it ‘wide’ (no crop).
    2. Went
   to Media > Hovered image > Clicked ‘regenerate thumbnails’ of an image that is
   2400 x 1600 in original size. 3. Clicked on the image link to get a detail view.
   4. Looked at the available image sizes (using plugin: Display All Image Sizes).
   I do see ‘wide’, but it’s not 1600 x 1200, instead it’s 660 x 440 which is the
   same as ‘large’.

 * I am afraid I am experiencing a similar issue. Not sure if it’s theme related
   but no matter what size I try, the images made available for post insertion are
   no larger than 640px (except if I chose Real Size option).
