Hi…the Max Image Upload Width and Max Image Upload Height doesnt seem to work when importing. No matter what you put it comes in large.

Will be fixed in an upcoming version?

@napleswebguy I’ve seen this happen on servers that are missing some required image libraries.

What host are using?

I’m using a pretty good host, I’ll try another one of my development sites if this is rare

in your host look out for php modules also browse in /wp-admin/site-health.php for suggestion on missing things

I downgraded to the 4.2 version at https://wordpress.org/plugins/instant-images/advanced/ and disabled auto-updates. It’s working OK now on Bluehost.

(I couldn’t figure out how to tinker with all the hosting server settings to troubleshoot; so much faster to just downgrade.)
