# Resizing browser breaks layout

 * Hello everybody!
 * I am a recent wordpress user that has built a site with the theme twentyeleven,
   at the moment it has been no major problem but I am finding an issue now when
   I reduce the size of the browser the content of the website also reduces squeezing
   all the content and ruining the layout, probably there is a css code that keeps
   the content stable and makes to appear the slides (botton and right), but I have
   been researching without any success.

 * Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having
   access to an **unedited** version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range
   of site issues. [Create a child theme for your changes](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes).
   Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.

 * Thanks for your reply esmi,
 * I have been coding css in a child theme from the beginning to protect the original
   files, what I don’t understand is your suggestion about not editing twentyeleven
   theme, is this about to check if customisations work in other themes?.
    I’m sure
   that it should be a code for the browser size issue, which seems quite obvious
   but I’m expending too much time to find it out, as soon as I get the solution
   I will post it here, in the meantime………. Please help!!!!!
