  • I’m having trouble with a couple of header image related bits on my site (, which is using the Pictorico theme with some color and font changes.

    I’d like to:

    1) Change the header image size (on home page and post pages) to something smaller; right now the CSS has the size set as a % and I don’t know how to make it smaller but keep it centered

    2) Would also like to keep the header image (on home page and post pages) fixed at the top, while everything else scrolls below. When I do position: fixed, however, I end up taking up the full page (I assume because of the 100% height and width used)

    3) Would like to change the post thumbnail images to something slightly smaller

    I think some of the relevant CSS (though I could be wrong, not very good at this):

    .header-image {
    background-position: center;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    -webkit-background-size: cover;
    -moz-background-size: cover;
    -o-background-size: cover;
    background-size: cover;
    position: absolute;
    left: 0;
    top: 0;
    width: 100%;
    height: 100%;
    z-index: 0;

    Any thoughts much appreciated
