You can either hard-code the width with CSS or if your column has a defined width, you can use the fullwidth parameter described on the Other Notes tab (with all the other parameters) to make the progress bar inherit the width of the parent.

No. The animation needs to know the width to work properly. The js is really minimal and doesn’t check for dynamic widths.
