    Hello,

My client used to have Autoptimize installed and even though we reinstalled it, deleted cache, turned off all possible cache reference options, and deactivate it again there are still residual references to cache files as you can see here:
    https://www.theherbtemple.com.au/products/cosmetics/

How can we get rid of those references?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

That, I’m afraid, is a page caching issue, if you add a random querystring to the URL (e.g. https://theherbtemple.com.au/products/cosmetics/?sqdf=sqdfsqd, which busts most page caches) you’ll see the page works. Purge any page cache you might have (I see you use WP Cloudflare Super Cache, so you’ll have to purge local cache and cloudflare’s as well).

    hope this helps,
    frank

We had cleared the cache multiple times, Cloudflare now is in development mode.
but yes, adding a querystring makes it work again, even without any querystrings at all afterward.

So it must be a browser cache issue then?

well, I saw the page was broken too, so it is unlikely to be a browser cache issue as I have never visited the site before? :-/

    Weird,
just before we had to contact Siteground Support because backups didn’t run, perhaps they discovered something else while fixing that. Site is faster now.

Anyway, thanks for your help, client is scared of reinstalling Autoptimize now, but I have on another site with a similar setup and get a 100%/100% on GTmetrix

    Take care and stay safe
