    Hi Diana,

I just tested this myself and checked the code in the plugin, and it really still should delete the Koko data when the plugin is deleted.

Note that you really need to delete the plugin and reinstall it for this to happen, just deactivating it is not enough.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!

    hey!

okay, that’s really strange because beside deactivating and deleting the plugin on my wordpress multisite network, I deleted the whole koko analytics directory in the plugins directory on my server but after reinstalling the old data is still here on my subsites. is there anything I missed? I would be really happy if you could help me 🙂

    greetings

Make sure to really go to Plugins > Installed plugins, deactivate and then delete the plugin from there, so via the WordPress interface. Deleting the folder from the plugins directory will not delete the data from the database.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!

I am going to add on to this thread. I am not using a multisite but I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it but the data remained.

Actually doing a hard refresh did it. The data is wiped clean.

    hey guys!

is it possible to set back the stats of one site of my wordpress multisite? if yes, I’d be really happy if you could tell me who to do this. deleting the whole plugin doesn’t help me because then all my other sites are set-back as well or am I wrong?

    thanks for helping!

    greetings

There is no official way to do that. You can set the auto-delete to 1 months, to delete anything older than a month, or otherwise you would need to go into the database and manually run the query to deleted the data from that site (mysql knowledge needed).

    Kind regards,
