  • Hello,

    My website is http://www.petalandpeach.com.au

I don’t know what I have done in the css but I have several problems that I suddenly need to rectify.
My menu is now showing as a list with “skip to content” written across the top. It was a bar across the page sitting under my logo and it was in capitals.
There is suddenly this browny/beige background on my pages when It was white
My social media icons are under each other instead of straight across
my instagram feed is now under my slider when they were next to each other.

are these fixable issues? or do I have to reset my css? either way, how do I rectify?

  • Hi wordpresshatesme,

When you want to change some changes to a theme, it would be better to use always a child theme, so the original theme isn´t modify.

    Please check: https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

Now, if you didn´t create a child theme you can do this:
    1. Activate any other theme.
    2. Delete sugar & spice theme
    3. Install it again and activate it.

You will get a fresh copy of that theme 😉

    Hope that helps you!

oh Bensita! thank you so much.

If I do this, will I lose all of my content?

And thank you for suggesting a child theme. I have absolutely NO IDEA what I am doing!

    Your content is safe 😉

I´m glad that I helped you!
