    Hello,
I have read about 10 of the migrating, moving etc posts for wordpress. I couldn’t find anything that was entirely the same as I am doing. Instead of me pointing out the differences I’ll just explain what I have and have to do and it is probably straight forward for someone.

    I have Godaddy shared hosting.
    I own 3 domain names.
I registered flydji.ca as the main account domain, and now decided i dont want it set as that
i have droneshopcanada.ca as an addon domain with woocommerce
    i have mountainpeakproperties.ca as a wordpress blog

if i type any of them in the url bar it goes to the respective site.

I want to hit the reset button on the account and make droneshopcanada.ca the root or main registered domain, and make mountainpeakproperties.ca an addon domain. I can reset and change the domains, but i am wondering what to do in the databases for each one and if i need to change anything like the permalinks structure?

in the end all the content for doneshopcanada will still be at dronshopcanada.ca but the internal structure of godaddy will have been changed? same with mountianpeak, its still mountainpeak but as an addon domain of drone shop instead of flydji.ca

do the databases even need to be changed? in wordpress under settings>general wordpress url and site url nothing would change.

    Any help / guidance?

    Cheers!

If you’re keeping the domain the same for each site, you don’t need to do anything in WordPress. You’ll just need to do the domain switch through GoDaddy and move the files if necessary.
