# Reseting the plugin

 * I made a few changes in the settings page (I enabled email confirmation option
   and removed repeat password field)
 * now whenever a new user is created the firstname is not set when the email is
   confirmed and when the user tries to login the password is always incorrect although
   the password entered is correct

 * Update
    I’m able to login to the test account if I go to the database and change
   the password to any other password and change the encryption to md5
 * I’m also able to login if I request a password reset but other than that I will
   always get error: wronng password when trying to login

 * Could you please check if you have the latest version of Profile Builder (version
   3.6.8)?

    Thanks
   for your reply I already fixed the problem it was some filter or A hook in some
   other plugin that forwards the user to the home page after registeration for 
   some reason this caused an issue with the registeration process so I deactivated
   that plugin and everything is working fine now
