Support » Plugin: PressForward » Reset User _mainly *ADMIN*_ roles & permissions

Like a nimrod, I threw this plugin in and started to play around with it.

I started looking at different Preferences options (under the assumption) that ‘author’ wouldn’t lock me out. #facepalm

Ok, so perhaps an uninstall will delete the options created?

    PressForward was successfully deleted.

    20 min later: Install + Activate, and…..
    ….nope

    Poop.

Looking through tables to reset and I’m only finding _pf_relationships
Pardon my unapologetic ignorance of jacking w/ the db, but I would …”what”? want to drop those?

    Thanks!

  • Sorry, we’ve now modified the preferences system to handle this better, though we don’t have an uninstall system that would reset those options. If you’re still having the problems.

Why don’t you sign in as an administrator to change the settings that way?

You can also resolve this by deleting the rows in the options table with these keys:

    pf_menu_group_access
    pf_menu_all_content_access
    pf_menu_under_review_access
    pf_menu_nominate_this_access
    pf_menu_preferences_access
    pf_menu_feeder_access
    pf_feature_comments_access
