Reset unclaimed store credits

Hi,
We have been doing some testing with store credits and even though there are no store credits left for any customers, the unclaimed store credits is still showing an amount due to a deleted user.
Is there a way to reset this unclaimed counter or will it fix itself over time?
Also when I click on sort on the Store Credit Balance in Customers to find all customers with any store credit balance left, it does not show any customers. The Sort by Customer Name and Email works fine (10,000 plus customers)
