# Reset password emails from WordPress

 * Hello,
 * Recently we could not access the above website with the password that we know
   to be correct. We subsequently requested a ‘reset’ via WordPress.
 * However the emails did not come through (including via the Spam box) and we repeated
   this step several times. One of these did make it through but by that time the
   link had expired!!
 * We are therefore unable to access the main admin account for this site at present.
 * Can you please advise?

 * Not sure why the emails are not being sent properly.
    You could ask your host,
   or login to your Control Panel and see if there are mail logs.
 * You can reset the password in the database using this approach:

 * Then installed a Mail Loggin Plugin to see if the emails are being sent:

 * Hi corrinarusso
 * We have managed to resolve this via our TSOhost domain/hosting provider.
    We 
   have installed the WP Mail Logging Log plugin for future use – once installed
   there we no emails shown in the log.
 * This was all a bit of a mystery but thankfully is now resolved.
