    i have problem with reset password email in my site. customers cant receive password reset link. when a customer put email in forgot password page and click reset password button it says password reset link sent successfully. but nothing sent into spam or inbox of email…i used email log plugin for checking sent eamils. it says email sent. (mysite.com/my-account/lost-password/?reset-link-sent=true)

    and user can send email in contact us page of shop and email will receive by admin email. problem is password reset email for customer that cant be send…

    Hi there,

    – Ask your hosting provider what’s going on (e.g., if any of their SMTP filtering rules have changed recently; If for some reason your notification emails have been simply queued. etc.)
    – Also ask them if you need to setup SMTP. If you do, then you can use a plugin for it. https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/email-faq/#section-7

    I am an experienced software engineer, and I maintain several different types of Ecommerce websites for clients. I am having the exact same issue with my Woo Commerce websites, since the last update. This mail tracking plugin mentioned does not track any email sent by Woo commerce for lost passwords. Please note that there are more than one lost password page. One for WordPress, and one for Woo Commerce. The woo commerce lost password link does not send any password reset emails to any of our customers and admins. I have even tested this myself. Currently, my admins are locked out of managing their online stores.

    I installed the mail tracking plugin, and nothing shows up even after testing the lost password link. I have nothing wrong with my hosting, and I can send email easily via a little bit of PHP code for some of my forms. I believe the Woocommerce plugin is broken.

    We are scrambling to get our clients passwords manually reset and back into their accounts. This has been going on most of July 2018.

    Has anybody come up with an answer to this problem?

    I’ve hit that particular issue recently with an ecommerce site hosted on Godaddy shared hosting. There are no caching plugins or hosting functions being utilized with this particular site so I’ve ruled that out as a potential cause. I’m also logging sent messages using an SMTP management plugin on the site which is showing every email sent out by contact form or order receipts but nothing on the forgot password submission.

    Some hosts have a filter on their ngix and apache servers. Contact the host and tell them about your issues. They have to disable the filter.

    I wish I could explain in better terms english but I don’t know how to say it.

    @redndusty have you asked for a cache exclusion on your server? how you say?

    @stefsternyc That’s my next step just to cover all bases. I wanted to hit all of the forums first before spending the next hour on hold with tech support.

    lol @redndusty GD was one of my clients for over 10 years. We even hosted with them. OMG the worst now. We only store our domains there. I am so happy we moved to WPE I can’t even say it enough. Best decision we ever made.

    If the Woocommerce plugin is active and a user clicks the “Lost Your Password” link on the login page, No email is sent and the page redirects to the home page.
    I have been reading forum after forum and all I see are excuses directing developers to the host. This is total bull as it is obviously a problem with woocommerce.
    If I am wrong, let me know how to truly fix the issue.
    If I am right, then have the strength of character to admit your fault, Woocommerce!

    I had this issue and i resolved it by going into Woocommerce->Settings->Emails and make sure the relevant emails you want activating are enabled by clicking the ‘manage’ button.
    Mine were disabled by default and after enabling them all they now all work fine.

    Having this issue as well. And thanks for the suggestion, Steve, I was hoping this was all that was required, after updating WooCommerce. Sadly, the “Lost Password” email button is enabled. Not sure what’s going on there.
    If anyone has any other suggestions, please let us know. I’m also interested in knowing how to get this fixed. Thanks!

    This is what fixed it for me.

    Go to Woo Commerce > Emails > Scroll down to the Email Sender Options:

    Next check to see what you have as the “From Address”. For me, the email was the original email I used to set up my wordpress website. It was a different domain from my wordpress domain.

    So once I made sure the email in the “From Address” matched the domain for the website, the emails started sending again!

    I am having this same issue with one of my clients websites (and have done for a while) – can’t seem to find a solution. The woocommerce password reset email does not go through to inbox or spam folder, so she is having to manually generate new passwords all the time for users who forget theirs…anyone else find any solutions??? I’ve tried a CSS solution I found online, but that did not have any effect. Getting very frustrated!!

    Same issue here, I also have to manually reset passwords for over 800 clients… it is so much time consuming and all these hours are non-billable since my clieNts (webshop owners that I have buit these webshops for) are putting the blame on me.

    THIS HAS TO GET FIXED GUYS, PLEASE
