# reset numbering

 * is there a way to “reset” the numbering? my footnotes always start with the number
   2. i don’t know why.

 * there is no way to reset numbering, but you can insert numbers manually like 
   this for 2018:
 * [footnote title=”2018″] sample text [/footnote]
