 * I am using the “Recent Alerts” widget in my sidebar. When a user has new messages,
the alert indicates this. However, when the user has opened the message or even
deleted it, the alert still says user has a new message from x days ago. Is there
a way to reset the alert so that after a user has opened the message referenced
by the alert, the alert no longer shows, and more importantly, after the user
   deletes the message.

 * Once read or deleted you have to refresh the page and it will not show a new
or that is how it is suppose to work.
