I think you are asking if it is possible to make a custom filled a required field.
I am traveling right now and can’t remember.
But even if it is required, it is impossible to validate the field to ensure the infusion entered matches the format of the document.
For example, if in your country ID has 7 numbers, but in mine we don’t have ID what would happen?
Hello again, what I would need is to have a mandatory field more, in this case the national identity document, an alphanumeric field. For the petition that I have currently launched, it is essential that this field be filled in because if not, the signature is not valid. Also, since it is a local petition, it does not apply if there are signatures of people from another country. Thanks for your great work with this plugin. regards

In my case, I would like to add a Spanish identification document, which consists of 8 numbers and 1 letter. My knowledge is not so advanced as to implement this option, but it would be interesting to be able to add a field and be able to choose that this was mandatory or not.
Sorry, I missed your reply @pollito31 – I will look at making the custom field an optionally required value.
Unfortunately the amount of work involved so that it could be validated and be flexible enough so you can customise the validation would be too hard e.g. require 7 numbers 1 letter or maybe 2 letters and 10 numbers or whatever.
