NOTICE: LazyEater will only work with LazyEater supported themes like Frozr WP theme. You can download Frozr for free @ mahmudhamid.com

Anytime a developer requires you to download a file away from WordPress in-order for the plugin to work makes me nervous, especially when the plugin deals with personal information and/or money.

I haven’t had the opportunity to examine the code for these files yet, but it always scares me that there could be malicious code. I purchased a plugin from another developer that had a backdoor in the code which gave the developer in Iran access to my Admin area. Luckily, I was on a test site and I caught it before any damage was done. I’m not saying that this is the case here, but it sure seems fishy. What possible motive could there be for operating this way?

I’m not taking the risk. I’m out.

Have you ever heard that WooCommerce worked on a theme that did not support it? Have you took some time and read this article on how to support LazyEater on themes? You are not stick to use the Frozr theme! Have you ever asked your self why would the world think of damaging your system?

Immediately adding a 1 star rating to a plugin that we spent more than 6 months of developing just because a “Risk feeling” is very annoying!!

    Stop attacking developers.

Developer’s log: @1515006 23 hours Joun007 LazyEater can now work on other themes

It was only after my review that you made the plugin where it could work on other themes, so please don’t act like it was that way from the beginning. As of this writing, you still state as quoted above that it “will only work with LazyEater supported themes”. The article that you mention was added to your website yesterday.

I do not Attack Developers as you are implying. I call it as I see it and what you did is a major red flag to me and I explained why.

What was your motive for doing what you did? Obviously, requiring an offsite theme was not necessary. Why isn’t your free theme posted here where others can examine it without having to provide you with our personal information?

You must have felt that my concern was valid or you would not have changed things.

I can think of several more dignified ways that you could have responded to my review, had you done so, I would have changed my score.

If making LazyEater work on other themes will only require a less than one day of work, why would we ignore that from the begging of the development, while this step was very important in increasing usage of the plugin?

I had some time to notice your review only after we completed all important updates for LazyEater 1.1.4 and LazyEater 1.1.3 which supporting other themes was a part of the plan.

I’m not saying change your rating, I’m just saying be fare!! I’m not against the 1 star rating, if it really gave us some points to review and improve the plugin. This plugin was on CodeCanyon.net before we decided to make it free, just to make more people benefit from it. Have you ever tested Frozr WP theme? to make a “Risk” scenario?

However, Thank you for your review and rating.
