Requirement of having to log in to WordPress

    There is no need to log in to WordPress for this plugin to offer a product feed to Google, just seems WordPress wants to collect data about my products and sales. Pretty sad..

    While your remark about collecting data related to products and sales isn’t true. You do need to connect to WordPress.com servers to seamlessly sync product data with the Google merchant center. It’s also officially documented publicly here.
