Required functions in the theme submition

    Hello,
    The topic that i’ve set is for the required functions and so on when submitting my theme to wordpress. Is the comment functionality a requirement or can i exclude it in some way. I don’t want this functionality in my theme.
    This is the site i’m using my theme on (below)
