Required fields in form

I am designing a site for a campaign to put an initiative on the ballot. The coalition wants to raise money, and naturally, I will be using some kind of form on the website to expedite donations.

The public disclosure laws in my state require that we keep track of all donors’ names, home addresses, occupation, name and address of employer. I’d like to have required fields in the form.

Is it possible to require this information before the “send” button is pushed?
