Please provide a link to the page and send a screenshot where the General and Advanced settings of this field will be visible.
Make sure the checkout page is set as Checkout in the Advanced tab of WooCommerce settings.

I looked into this store and I see that checkout is divided into two steps – which is not the default behavior of WooCommerce checkout. I assume that another plugin or theme added such a division into two steps.
Field validation is checked when the user clicks the Submit button. Please note that there is an additional button Proceed to payment after the first step – but it is not part of WooCommerce so it will not trigger a validation check before proceeding to the next step.
In the last step we finalize the order and validation is checked here. I did not complete the Email Shipping field. Then a validation error message appeared.

No. The screenshot pasted last time showed a message for payment via PayPal.
When I make a payment by debit card then the error Hosted Fields payment is already in progress appears (there are no validation errors from other fields). But this message is not related to the field from our plugin because it also appears if I do not fill in the default field like Name etc.
I am marking this topic as resolved as we have not received any new replies.
