# Required checkout fields

    billing fields selected required but when place order button is clicked its
   not showing that the field is required

 * Hi [@gowsik](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gowsik/), I’m aware of an issue
   affecting the Billing State and Shipping State checkout field, in the interim
   remove the required state for Billing/Shipping State via WooCheckout from the
   WordPress Administration. I’ll be pushing another minor release later this week
   to address just that issue.
