# Required checkbox

 * Hello!
    After updating to v5.6 I noticed the issue with checkbox input. When 
   it is set as required the form doesn’t send a letter, and there isn’t any mistakes
   in browser’s console. When checkbox doesn’t set as required the form works perfectly.
   Other required fields work without any issues. Could you please help me to understand
   how I can fix that. Thanks a lot in advanced!

    I finally 
   solved this by using the acceptance checkbox as described here: [https://contactform7.com/acceptance-checkbox/](https://contactform7.com/acceptance-checkbox/)
   For my forms, it’s fine. Best wishes Laoren
