 * I am setting this up on a client website, and I am seeing a notification that
   says:
 * The [required certificate↗](https://athenastarr.ca/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association)
   for this website is not accessible publicly. Stripe payment methods that require
   domain verification may not work. Please ensure the certificate is publicly accessible
   or go to `Settings > Permalink Settings` and save the permalinks again. If this
   warning persists, [contact support](https://links.stellarwp.com/stellarpay/support)
 * –
 * The problem, you are not saying which permalink the system prefers and I currently
   use ‘Post Name’. I also have Stripe setting up a Custom Domain for Stripe but
   they said they will email me once its completed. So, could that be the problem?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Frequired-certificate%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hey there,
 * Thanks for reaching out — happy to help clarify what’s going on here.
 * That message about the required certificate is often resolved by heading to **
   WP-Admin > Settings > Permalinks** and clicking the **Save Changes** button at
   the bottom of the page. There’s no specific permalink structure that needs to
   be updated, and you don’t need to change your current setting. Clicking **“Save
   Changes”** refreshes the site’s URL handling behind the scenes, which often clears
   the warning.
 * As for the **custom Stripe domain**, that’s typically used when Stripe hosts
   the checkout on their own domain. Since StellarPay processes payments directly
   on your site’s `/checkout` page, the custom Stripe domain setup shouldn’t be
   necessary in this case and likely isn’t related to the message you’re seeing.
 * Let me know if the notice still sticks around after saving permalinks — happy
   to dig deeper from there.
 * Best,
   KevinStellarPay Support

 * Hi [@sajahsdesignstudio](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sajahsdesignstudio/)

   I visited your site and it appears you have the SSL certificate set up properly.
   If you’re still having an issue let us know, but for now I’m going to mark this
   as resolved.

 * Hey! Sorry, I’m just seeing these messages. The message is still there, even
   after saving the permalink section in settings. I can send a screenshot.
