For my corporate WP installation, I use Active Directory Authentication, which works perfectly. However, to require all users to log in, I am using a plug-in called Private WordPress (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/private-wp/). Suddenly, when using Chrome or Firefox, I cannot log in with my WP admin account (I have more than one, and none of them work). The screen doesn’t shake it’s head.. it just blanks out the password after a few seconds and sticks on the sign-in screen.
I CAN log in with an account in our AD, though. I can log in with a WP id which is not set to admin access.
When I use IE9, it works perfectly. I can log in with either a WP or AD account.
I have dumped the cache, history, everything from Chrome and restarted Chrome in an effort to get it working again. No luck!
It’s not imperative that the Chrome works (we use IE at work), but will all the talk about hacking plug-ins this week, I’m a bit worried about the stability of the Private WP plug in.
Does anyone use something else in a corporate or personal WP environment to require log-in for each user?
Anyone else notice problems with this particular plug-in?
