 * Hi Dave,
 * I have a dropdown form on my search form, using the Extra Fields plugin. Is it
   possible to require that the user select one of the options from the dropdown
   in order for them to make a search?

 * The search form is a series of logically ORed fields–which means that really 
   NONE of them are required to perform a search.
 * We don’t have a mechanism to force users to select something (or fill out a field)
   in the search right now.
