Perhaps you missed it, but that was added in 1.8.0, and can be found on the Advanced tab.
I already saw the options you mentioned. what I am requesting you to separate, Resizes images uploaded directly to the Media Library and those uploaded within a post or page, because sometimes we might want to upload higher quality images to media library and then send its link to someone else without posting in the website.

Ah I wasn’t clear on that. I had made the decision to only have 2 separate settings, since I didn’t have any use case to support all three separate settings (and I wasn’t sure that the Imsanity setting was working properly there anyway).
I’ll take a look and see what I can do.
Ok, I’m going to add a filter for the dimensions which will allow them to be changed for any imaginable circumstance.
Then I’ll write up some documentation with an example for what you’re trying to accomplish.
