    Courtney,

I have considered including 3rd party support for popular plugins such as WordPress SEO. But, I strongly feel that it would serve to make the code far less efficient for users who don’t use those 3rd party plugins. Instead, I am considering offering 3rd party plugin support through add-on plugins.

Look for this to be available within the next few months.

Thanks Dave! That would be great.

    Courtney,

I’m finally getting around to this feature addition. But, as a UX dev, I’m always interested in how people interact with specific settings. Would it be sufficient to only require fields on the “general” tab of WP SEO by Yoast?

I’m also wondering how people generally use the “SEO Title” field — sometimes, I leave it the way it displays out-of-the-box. In this case, only the “Focus KW” and “Meta Desc” should be required by my plugin?

Thanks again for the suggestion, and I look forward to your feedback. Collaboration always makes for the most helpful and functional plugins, in my book. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Courtney,

After much thought, I have decided to move SEO requirements into a paid PRO version of this plugin, which will be available when the next major release drops. This, and many other feature enhancements and additions will make the PRO version a very powerful tool for content managers.

However, if you’d like to stay with the current version of the free plugin, you are free to do so. But, you will not enjoy the benefits of many bug fixes and additional functionality.

I’ll let you know as I get closer to the PRO plugin, so you may make an informed choice.

    marking as resolved
