# Request: Visitor count for each post

 * I’m wondering how I can implement something in my WP blog that shows me/everyone
   a simple counter which counts the amount of visits an individual topic receives.
 * I pretty much want to know how many people read each of my topics, not how many
   people visit my site in general.
 * Does this exist?

 * This might be a little overkill for what you are asking, but look at Coldforged’s
   Asides Plugin. One of the ‘features’ is a post counter that gets hit each time
   a particular post is opened.
 * You can then display the top visited posts on your sidebar.

 * I’ve implemented this feature on my blog using WP 1.5, so I can vouch that it
   works.

 * i didnt put it in the write place… that’s why it didnt work
 * works great now…
 * it would be nice to see this plugin support permalinks
