Support » Networking WordPress » Request time out and idle timeout setting on wordpress application

  • Hello, support. I’d like to ask you a question about this since I don’t know how to use my WordPress to navigate it. I’m currently supporting the Nikon website. Could you please assist me with this? Is there a tool that must execute the timeout request? or is a plugin required?

Regarding this, please review reference the instruction sent by my boss

Check connection/request timeout and idle timeout settings on your application. Please ensure those values are higher than of ALB’s. Connection timeout is hard-coded to 10 seconds and by default idle timeout is set to 60 seconds (in current case also idle timeout is 60).”

    Thanks for your help!

The Nikon website? As in nikon.com? It does not appear to be a WordPress based site.

In any case, timeout settings are not usually manged by WP except in specific situations like performing updates. WP normally relies upon the settings defined in php.ini. If you want to alter timeout periods, that’s the place to do it.
