# Request: Save Date Range

 * I would like to save the date range.
    For me it’s most interesting to see everything
   YTD compared to year before. Everytime I open the dashboard, I need to change
   it….. I would like to save this setting.

   this feature request. I believe this is something we have talked about before–
   persisting a default date range between sessions. As you’ve probably seen, if
   you adjust the date range on the dashboard, and then navigate to an individual
   report, the date selection is persisted ( and is in the URL query string too 
   so it will “stick” for bookmarks ) – but once you log-out/log back in it is reset.

   you can now set a default date range under Analytics > Settings
