  • What strings are you referring to?

The only strings entered by the user that we see could/should be translated is the custom homepage description when using “latest posts” as the frontpage.
    Any other field?

We are not familiar with Polylang but are planning on adding WPML integration very soon. We could also add Polylang support if it’s a simple task. Can you point us on the documentation for registering strings for translation?

That was indeed the field I was referring to in my previous comment.
Open Graph Locale could be also “translated” accordingly.
What is more, the publisher’s Twitter/Facebook/Google+ author username could also vary between languages.

Thanks for the reply; keep up the good work!

Related Polylang documentation can be found here:
    https://polylang.wordpress.com/documentation/documentation-for-developers/functions-reference/#pll_register_string
The developer is also very active in the plugin’s support board.

Open Graph Locale could be also “translated” accordingly.

Just leave it as “default” and you should be ok.
