# Request: manual builds

 * This sounds like such blasphemy coming from a WP user, but I’m wondering if there
   is a plugin — or interest in building a plugin — that would create manual builds
   of your WP content.
 * Here’s my problem: over time, websites come and go. A blog may be defunk, but
   people don’t want bookmarks to die, and they want to keep their stuff archived.
   But the don’t want to have to worry about making sure the software that they 
   no longer use is up-to-date and secure.
 * Ideally, it’d be great to find something whose builds mimicked one’s URI structure,
   preserving bookmarks.
 * Anyone know of anything?
