Again, I love this plugin so I wrote a review (what I normally don’t do).

A minor thing though. What I am missing is this:

For an email action I have to manually fill in every field (like FROM, TO, SUBJECT) and that’s ok all-tough why not build the option to INSERT FIELDS?

    F.i.

For the EMAIL FROM text you could automate the site’s email address (or at least give it as an option).

For the EMAIL TO text you could give the option to insert a filled in form field (in my case an users email field)… and so on.

This would be so much easier 🙂

    Get my drift?

    Hello!

Thanks for the feedback (and the nice review!).

This is feature I intended to add in the future, a simple dropdown in emails fields allowing to add custom template tags. I still need to work on it.

FYI, it is possible to add custom template tags in any email fields. Like {field:my_field} or {get_field:my_field:128} in the email object. You’ll find the list of all available tags in the “Cheatsheet” tab of the Dynamic Forms UI.

For the general WordPress option admin_email, I need to implement a new template tag {get_option:option_name} in order to retrieve it from DB.

I added the feature request in the Trello Board: https://trello.com/c/q70YvRWy/176-dynamic-forms-add-getoptionoptionname-template-tag

Should not be very hard to implement, so it should be in the next patch 😉

    Have a nice day!

    Regards.
