Request: hardcoded lists

Greetings.

You could make html designers life easier if the functions that returns lists (like wp_list_pages, wp_get_archives, wp_list_categories, …) had the following changes:

• remove all line breaks, tabs, spaces between tags (ul,ol,li,…);
• include a span tag inside links/anchors (<a><span>Example</span></a>).
