# Request Error not JSON

 * Hello
 * I have installed MailPoet from scratch and tried sending test newsletter. I keep
   getting the error “Request Error not JSON” and the email doesn’t go through.
 * `define('WP_DEBUG', true);` gives:
 * “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal
   Server Error)
 * [http://www.freebirthdatelottery.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php&#8221](http://www.freebirthdatelottery.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php&#8221);
 * WordPress emails are working ok (with Mandrill). I’ve tried the “third party”
   option, increasing memory limit and disabling all other plugins.
 * What could the problem be please?
 * My website is freebirthdatelottery.com, happy to send login details privately.
