• Hi. I was thrilled to find a plugin that helps increase the contrast of the backend. I am visually impaired, and the current trend of ultra-low contrast design is challenging for me, and for others whose eyes aren’t so great anymore.

Is it possible to have even more contrast with your plugin? Either via a separate plugin or via an option in settings to double or triple the contrast between the white background and the field boxes, shapes, etc?

An example of difficulty: when using Visual Composer and trying to move the rows around, it’s almost impossible for me to see the different segments/areas boxed off. I inadvertently drag sections within another section instead of above/below a section. Argh! 🙂

Thanks for the plugin. Hope you can create an option for even greater help in seeing for us who desperately need it. 🙂

I can’t support Visual Composer. Sorry about that. If you have specific feedback about the built-in admin screens, let me know.

Are you looking for a variation of this plugin that simply makes everything black and white?

I gave this some thought and slapped together a solution for the built-in pages.

Having a separate plugin for the visually impaired/accessibility features seems appropriate. It is pending review for the official plugin directory now.

This should give “even more contrast” above the original plugin. The area where this will most need feedback is with font colors, because the original plugin never touched those. And I just don’t have a good sense of which fonts are difficult for other people.
