[Resolved] Request: Ability To Disable Assignment Desk Widget

    A feature for consideration:

Re: The “Assignment Desk” widget that appears in users’ dashboards, that shows tallies of approved, rejected, etc. submissions.

An option to disable that would be most helpful for us. It’s causing angst and confusion with those in our userbase who have hosted blogs, but are not involved in our citizen journalism projects.

    Thanks as always.

    Hey Ed,
Sorry for the late response. Could you describe your use case better? If a user doesn’t want to see the Assignment Desk widget, they can hide it in the “Screen Options” functionality on the dashboard. If you want to disable it for the entire site, you can do so with a plugin like Adminimize. Adding an option for disabling it site-wide could be a possibility but at the moment it’s pretty integral to accepting/declining assignments.

    Thoughts?

    Cheers,

    Daniel
