Republished 400 posts to social media…holy cow.

    So, I moved all these posts from one category to another and then checked out the linked social media accounts and noticed 400+ posts…it republishes them? Duplicates them? I have no idea how it could have accomplished this, but this sucks. As a business owner taking down 400+ posts off of 5 different social media accounts is going to be impossible. I will just have to write out a public apology instead. Thanks, app, thank you so much. I needed to be embarrassed and this just plain old sucks, man. Sucks.

    This plugin DOES NOT publish anything to social media. EVER.

    Do you have any other plugin that automatically publishes to social media when a post is created or updated? If yes, then that is the plugin that published your posts to social media.

    This plugin just moves your posts to a new category or tag. I guess the social media plugin that you are using would have thought that the posts were updated and would have published them to social media.

    Also most social media plugin might have an option to disable posting if a post is updated. and post only when a post is created.

    You may have to configure it properly so that it doesn’t do it again.
