Reports – unsubscribe count

    In the report, what exactly does the “unsubscribes” # mean?
    On January 7:

    1. sent out 1889 email/newsletters
    2. 108 unsubscribes

    On January 8:

    1. sent to same list
    2. report shows it still sends to 1878
    3. shows additional 107 unsubscribes

    Why isn’t the # sent reduced by the # of unsubscribes

    Hi lesd1315,

    We have found a problem with the stat counter for unsubscribes. It should be fixed in the next release although it wont fix the numbers on you past reports any new ones should be correct.

    If someone did unsubscribe you can view the unsubscribed users on your lists.

    Thanks for the reply Josh. Is it possible that what’s happening is:

    • a newsletter recipient clicks on the unsubscribe link
    • the default form that opens shows all possible lists including those to which the recipient is not subscribed
    • the recipient checks all lists to unsubscribe even though not subscribed to all of them
    • this increases the unsubscribe count artificially
