Hello. We are using report notification emails to send a weekly report. They used to provide a csv attachment with the emails. After recent emails it seems that is no longer included. Cannot find where to get that added back in.

    Hello @katmacau

    Hope you’re doing well today!

The Forminator reports don’t have CSV attachments I am afraid, it seems that you could be referring to the scheduled submission exports where you will receive submission data exported in CSV format on your configured email.

You can read more about it here: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#exporting-submissions

    Hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,
    Saurabh

Yes, sorry the client meant that one instead. The submissions > scheduled export is not letting select additional email addresses and has stopped including the CSV with it. When you type in an email or username it does not do that auto look up on there.

    Hi @katmacau

I was able to replicate the missing CSV issue on my lab site. I pinged our Forminator Team to review this so we could know if this is some new bug.

As for “When you type in an email or username it does not do that auto lookup on there” it seems like some conflict here. Do you see any kind of errors in the browser console? Would you also please run a conflict test? Please deactivate all plugins except Formiantor one and check if the problem is gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having a conflict. If there is no positive result, switch to the default WordPress theme like 2019, and see if it works. Before this test, we recommend full site backup or running this test on the staging site.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Hi @katmacau

I hve made additional tests with our Team and all works fine when it comes to CSV files.

If you enable “Send email only if there are new submissions” it will send an email for each submission separately so there is no need to attach a CSV file with 1 submission.

If “Send email only if there are new submissions” is disabled, it will send an email on the correct day with all submissions with a CSV file.

Please check if “Send email only if there are new submissions” is enabled or disabled on your side.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

Thank you. I can confirm that “send only” is not checked.

I can see in the console log that there is an error when I try pick another name. This is on a live site so would need to make a staging copy before I went and tested plugin/theme conflicts.

The more important thing is getting the CSV to attach for us right now which is not happening.

    Hi @katmacau

    Thank you for response!

As for the e-mail auto-lookup and that error:

I understand that you’d rather not do any testing on a live site but the error itself does suggest conflict. It is quite possible that there was no conflict before but it started to happen after some updates on the site – so a full conflict test will be absolutely necessary in this case.

Once you got staging site ready, please perform it and let us know about results so we could look into it to see if it can be fixed by us/on our end.

    As for the CSV:

I understand that you do not have the “Send email only if there are new submissions” option enabled and yet it’s still not attaching CSV to e-mails. But e-mails themselves are delivered, right? I mean – no CSV but the message is received?

If so, it may be either a bug of which we are not yet aware (we currently have no such/related bugs reported/open) or it is also related to some conflicts.

So I’d like to ask you to check two additional things:

    1. First

    – manually download CSV for affected from and see if it contains data or is empty; if it’s not
    – see if “Apply Submission Filters” option is enabled and if it is – double-check what filters are currently applied to submissions list; or temporarily just disable the “Apply Submission Filters” checkbox.

    – finally, try to disable scheduled export entirely and set it again from scratch

    2. If above doesn’t help or doesn’t reveal any additional issues (like incorrectly processed filters or empty CSV despite new submissions being added)

    – install this free plugin on site https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/
    – wait until scheduled e-mail goes out and see if the plugin reports attached CSV there or not.

The goal here (point 2) is to find out if it’s the plugin (Forminator) that’s for some reason not attaching that file anymore on your site or if something else is involved. If log shows that file is attached (and yet it still doesn’t go through) – it will also require full conflict test.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

Thank you. I can confirm the client did get the CSV this time on the email. They had both reports and submission notifications enabled. Now just have submissions notification on.

I still cannot get the submissions > export > scheduled exports to let me choose email addresses in the email export data field. I used the troubleshooting plugin to disable all plugins and use a WordPress theme. Still had the same issue of the ‘Uncaught TypeError: h[0] is undefined’ happening.

Note – the user select does work on other forminator settings pages.
