 * I notice some of my friends site has the reply link at the bottom of the commentators.
   Is that a plugin or something?

 * If you mean the “Post your comment” or “Reply” link at the bottom of posts that
   leads to the comment form, no – it’s not a plugin. It’s a standard WordPress
   option but not all themes include it. You’ll either need to change themes to
   one that does include this link or edit your theme to add it.

 * Here’s an example:
    [http://purplehoodie.org/index.php/2009/08/too-much-butter/#comments](http://purplehoodie.org/index.php/2009/08/too-much-butter/#comments)
 * At the bottom of each commentator has this: Reply to this Comment? When you click
   on it a form pops out.

 * Yep – that’s the standard WordPress commenting/discussion option.
 * Have you checked that you’ve enabled commenting in Admin/Settings/Discussion?
   If you have and there’s no comment link or form showing on your site, your theme
   may not support it. It’s not common but there are a few out there for various
   reasons.
 * Adding comments to your existing theme – whilst possible – would involve a fair
   amount of template editing and probably some theme styling. Unless you’re especially
   keen to get your hands dirty with some coding, you might be better off looking
   for another theme that does allow commenting.

 * I don’t see that in the Admin/Settings/Discussion. That’s okay. I don’t know
   much about WordPress. I’m kind of a beginner. I just starting to learn it myself.
   I feel kind of lost.

 * I just have the number 6, which tells you how many people posted a comment. Where
   do I go, so I can put 6 Replies or 6 Commentators, etc.

 * Look in your theme files for `<?php comments_popup_link()';?>`.

 * brice83,
 * It appears that you will need to do some template editing. A good place to start
   is in the WordPress Codex: [http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_comments](http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_comments)
