And what happens if you switch back to the unedited parent theme?
ah – I should of course have said:
If I switch back to the parent theme, it works. I have clearly messed up the code, and now I cannot figure out where that code lives…. I would hate to reverse engineer the whole thing all over, and was hoping someone might have a clue as to where that little bit lives.

Comments on my blog works fine, but the nested reply-to comment stopped working some time ago.
I have been fiddling a lot with making a child theme, so I may have broken something in the process, and now I cannot figure out how to fix it.
The theme is child of twentyeleven, and here is an example post http://barebente.com/blog/2012/01/anthropomorphism/
I DID disable all plugins, this did not work.
I would be much grateful if someone has any idea, or can point me in the right direction..
