I’ve just noticed that a mod deleted some replies from https://wordpress.org/support/topic/unsupported-php-versions/. While the linked topic is an announcement, the deleted replies were concerning legitimate issues and therefore, I, as the plugin author, did not ask for moderator intervention.

Cleaning up the topic would be fine and welcome, if the “offending” posts were simply moved to their own topic instead of being simply gone. Could someone please either undelete them or move them to a separate topic? Also, the topic has been closed, so I cannot even add a note about the deleted replies (it is unlikely that the users in question will read the note if I create a new support topic).

That topic was supposed to be a sticky post with no replies, stuck the top of the plugin’s forum topics. It was an informational post/ To return the post to its original purpose, responses were archived.

If you need to discuss this further, please visit the #forums channel on slack.
