Support » Fixing WordPress » Replacing the default "404.php" template

  • I have been unsuccessfully trying to override the default “404.php” page on a website.

I tested this new 404-template on a “beta” website and it works just fine. When I replace the live site with that same page, however, I get the “Ever feel like you’re in the wrong place?” page featuring the guy with the orange Hawaiian shirt. Even when I delete the 404.php page.

Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong or how to fix this?

    Thank you in advance!
