[resolved] Replacing .png with .jpeg images (3 posts)

I found that .png media take a lot more bytes than the .jpeg media files. To hopefully make my pages load faster for visitors I wanted to replace my .png with .jpeg versions of the media I already have in my library. My questions are:
    1. Is my assumption correct?
    2. Is there an easy way to do it with the enable media replace plugin? (I can make the jpeg versions)

Well, you could do it with EMR by making sure you replace the file name and links (the second option) and it should work fine. But you'll have to do it one by one since there is no batch option.

    Thanks, that works.
