Replacing gravatars with avatars

  • Hello there.

    I bought a theme so I can change the one I use now. The fact is that the new theme uses gravatar plugin. In the one I have now, I use the avatars plugin so users can upload their own pictures through their profile.

    Is there any way to make any coding changes for that?
    For example, the new theme display a gravatar uses :
    <img border="0" style="padding:1px; float:left; background-color:#FFFFFF; margin:0px; border:1px solid #ccc;" src="<?php gravatar('R', 40, true, get_option('home')."/wp-content/themes/mappa/img/default.gif"); ?>" />

    and the one I use :
    <?php echo get_avatar( $curauth->ID , 80 ); ?>

    Thank you!
