[Resolved] Replacing database table contents

  • I know I should be lambasted for even trying to do this, so please spare me the ticking-off!

The database on my site is out of date, as I got carried away with my localhost site development and neglected my live one. What I want to do is replace the database I have online with the one I have on my local system – but I can’t find a tutorial on how to do this. Dropping existing tables doesn’t work unless you drop them all, and then it deletes the entire database along with it.

Best way to perform this operation? I have loads of backups so if it goes wrong, it’s not the end of the world…
