hi all... i'm testing out WB on a local XAMPP running windows PC before uploading it to my site, i've been sucessfull to setup a blog the way i want to now. Tomorrow i was planning to try setting up a event callender, but i don't want to loose my current setup... is it some way i can preserve that... like copying it to a different forlder?

Will be thankful for any hints from you here, please bare in mind that i have no knowledge about mysql and how to do backups etc, so if what you suggest involde that please take time to write me a sinmple how-to.

Backing up the database is exactly what you have to do. I don't use XAMPP myself but a quick google search led to http://practicalsbs.wordpress.com/2011/03/02/xampp-using-mysqldump-to-backup-mysql-on-windows-server-2003/

You can edit your post within an hour after posting.
